Empowering Excellence in STEM at Fisk University

The Allied Sciences Building Project

A transformative initiative to advance scientific education and research at Fisk University

A Hub of Scientific Discovery

The Allied Sciences Building will centralize and expand the Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Pre-Health programs, providing much-needed state-of-the-art laboratory and research spaces, enhanced faculty offices, and advanced teaching environments.

Currently, Fisk’s STEM students and faculty operate in temporary trailers and outdated classrooms, significantly limiting their ability to conduct research and compete at the highest academic levels.

Voices from Our Community

Our bright students hunger for a chance to DO science. Even with limited resources and space, faculty at Fisk have found ways to engage students in the process of science in teaching labs and in their own grant-supported research projects. Fisk students continue to achieve great things, but we want to provide the cutting-edge training environment they deserve.
I have waited for this moment for over 30 years as a faculty member and 39 as an alumna of Fisk University. Our hearts overflow with joy. This new building will replace outdated facilities and create an inspiring environment for our talented students and faculty.
