What is a meal plan?

A meal plan is a program that enables students to eat a select number of meals at the Dining Halls during a given period. All residential students must purchase a meal plan.

Our meal plan has been designed to accommodate the various needs of our students. The continuous dining plan includes on campus meals each week as well as in The Sub Shop through meal equivalency.

When you purchase a meal plan, your student identification card becomes your pass to eat in the Dining Hall. Uneaten meals do not carryover as your meal plan is reset each week.

What is meal equivalency and how does it work?

Meal equivalency is a meal exchange where students have the choice of eating in The Sub Shop in lieu of eating in the dining hall at no additional cost. If the cost of your meal exceeds the meal equivalency rate ($3.75), the remaining balance owed will be paid in cash, MasterCard, or Visa.

Students may use their meal equivalency Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

What is a commuter meal plan?

Designed exclusively for commuter students, faculty and staff, the commuter meal plan is great for the occasional diner. The meal plan offers a convenient, hassle free way to always enjoy a delicious meal or grab a quick bite, without ever searching for a quarter. Purchase a commuter meal plan at the Cashier’s Office through your student account. You may pay with MasterCard, Visa, Cash, Money Order or Financial Aid Credit.
