Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Paul T. Kwami: Fisk Jubilee Singers® Host Tribute Event

[Nashville, Tenn] – [March 8, 2024] – The Fisk Jubilee Singers will be holding a celebration to honor the legacy of their former director, Dr. Paul T. Kwami. Dr. Kwami’s 28-year tenure left an indelible mark on the group and the music world.
 
Hailing from Ho, Ghana, Dr. Kwami brought a unique perspective that enriched the Fisk Jubilee Singers’ sound and artistry. His dedication and leadership left an undeniable mark.
 
Reflecting on Dr. Kwami’s enduring influence, G. Preston Wilson, Executive Director of the Fisk Jubilee Singers, remarked, “While Dr. Kwami is no longer with us physically, he is with us in spirit; and we will continue to love and honor him.”
