Prospective Employee CLERY Act Compliance Notice
The CLERY Act for campus crime reporting mandates that Fisk University notify prospective employees (faculty, staff, and student) of the existence of the annual crime report, what is in it, and where to get it. As a University, we must comply with the CLERY Act. This means we must supply the following Summary Statement to all prospective faculty, staff and other employees.
Summary Statement
With recent amendments to The Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act of 1990 (re-named the CLERY Act), we are now able to publish our campus safety information for the University community via the World Wide Web.
The Fisk University annual security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by Fisk University; on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security and police, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters. You will find the Annual Security Report on the Campus Safety - CLERY Act page, or you can obtain a copy by contacting the Office of Campus Safety 615-329-8777
