Fisk University to Host Second Annual Athletics Hall of Fame Luncheon
-Former Tennessee Titan Keith Bulluck to serve as keynote speaker of Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon-
Nashville, Tenn., October 5, 2017 – Fisk University will host its second annual Fisk University Athletics Hall of Fame luncheon to honor former athletes, coaches, and administrators that have presented influential roles in the success of Fisk’s athletics program.
As part of the week-long homecoming celebration, the luncheon will be held Friday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. in the Fisk University Appleton Room of Jubilee Hall. Keith Bulluck, philanthropist and former linebacker for the Tennessee Titans will serve as the keynote speaker.
The 2017 Hall of Fame inductees include: Mark Bedell ’97, Robert James ’69, Ben Jobe ’56, Henderson A. “Tubby” Johnson ’51, Harriet Hamilton Kimbrough ’75, John Martin, Bus Thompson, 1908 and 1910 football teams.
Membership into the Hall of Fame is extended to those who have competed in one or more of the university sanctioned sports programs, but also to those that have served as supporters for Fisk athletics. Members are nominated and voted on by a committee consisting of members of the athletics department, alumni association, and student body.
