The primary purpose of policies and regulations and the articulation of expected standards of student conduct is to further the mission of the University and to protect the well-being of the community. They enable all the members of the University to function as a community and respond to situations which threaten or violate that community.
Each student, by enrolling at Fisk University, is responsible for reviewing and adhering to all published student life policies and University standards.
While the policies and standards outlined in the Handbook provide students an effective set of guidelines for personal conduct, the University retains the right to enact additional policies and regulations, correct errors, or to modify existing policies as it deems necessary.Â
Fisk University does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, gender, or disability in administration of its educational policies, admissions, financial aid, employment, educational programs, or activities.
