CLARA
D. CRAVER, Director, has been active in industrial application of IR
for over 45 years. She specialized in spectroscopic methods at Exxon and
Battelle Memorial Institute prior to founding Chernir and Polytech
laboratories. She is editor of major books on IR Reference Data and on
Polymer Characterization. Honors include the ACS Carbide Award, ASTM Award
of Merit, D.Sc., and the Williams-Wright Award in Industrial Spectroscopy |

NORMAN
B. COLTHUP is noted for his lucid and detailed lectures on the theory
and interpretation of both infrared and Raman spectroscopy. The Fisk
Institute uses Dr. Colthup's outstanding text. His honors include a D.Sc.,
and the W1lliams-Wright Award in Industrial Spectroscopy. |

WILLIAM
G. FATELEY, University Distinguished Professor, Kansas State
University, served as Editor-in-Chief of APPLIED SPECTROSCOPY, 1974- 1994,
and on the organization committees of many international conferences on FT
-IR and Raman. He was Chairman of PITTCON in 1971. His industrial
experience includes Dow Chemical Company and Mellon Institute. His many
honors include the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh and Coblentz
Society, Inc. Award, and the Hasler Award at PittCom 2001. |

CONCETTA
PARALUSZ is Manager of Analytical Services at Permacel, a Nitto Denko
Company, and Chairman of ASTM Committee E-13.03 on Infrared Spectroscopy.
Paralusz is a well-recognized expert on internal reflection procedures and
adhesives and polymer characterization. She is a 1983 recipient of the
ASTM Award of Merit and a member of the Coblentz Society Board of
Managers. |

ENRIQUE
SILBERMAN, Professor Emeritus of Physics and Director of the Fisk
Molecular Spectroscopy Research Laboratory, has published widely in both
experimental and theoretical aspects of molecular spectroscopy. He was for
many years Professor of Molecular Spectroscopy at the University of Buenos
Aires. |

STEVEN
H. MORGAN, Associate Professor and Chair of the Physics Department at
Fisk University, received his Ph.D. in molecular spectroscopy from
Vanderbilt University. He was a post doctoral research associate at Fisk
before joining the faculty, and has published widely in experimental
infrared and Raman spectroscopy. |
