Stephanie N. Cage joined the Fisk family in 2011 as the University Registrar. Prior to joining Fisk University, Stephanie was the Assistant Registrar at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Stephanie started her professional career at the University of Memphis as an Instructional Services Assistant and has served in other roles in higher education including Coordinator of Enrollment Services at Southwest Tennessee Community College and Program Coordinator for Occupational Therapy at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Stephanie also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member in Academic Success at The University of Memphis and in the Department of Sociology at Southwest Tennessee Community College.
Stephanie is committed to inspiring, training, and guiding urban youth on the road to success. During her time as an instructor, she helped incoming freshmen by giving them an introduction and overview of college life and introducing them to study skills and writing enhancements. She co-authored an article “Another Look at Information Literacy” for the Tennessee Library Association. Stephanie has an earned Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Memphis. She received a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Counseling and Sociology from the University of Memphis. Currently, she is pursuing the Doctor of Education Degree in Higher Education and Administration at the University of Memphis.
