Loretta McDonald

As an undergraduate student, Ms. McDonald studied public relations and marketing at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She served as the student representative for the Faculty Search Committee of the Communications Department and Vice-President of the Eta Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Currently, Ms. McDonald is pursuing her Masters of Higher Education Administration at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College, with an emphasis in Enrollment Management and Student Affairs.

Beginning as an intern in the Office of Recruitment and Admission, she is able to help students and their families navigate the admissions process at an institution that will prepare students academically, grow them culturally and refine them professionally. She has an education philosophy centered around encouraging students to pinpoint their purpose and helping to provide them with the tools necessary to exceed their goals and prepare for their future.

Ms. McDonald is also a committee member of The Sponsors Scholarship Program of Nashville, a group of private individuals who offer a program that provides financial and mentoring assistance to young people of promise who are financially unable to pay for their own post high school education.
