Carlette Yvette Jones, M.B.A
In 1997, Ms. Jones completed a Bachelor of Science at Tennessee State University. After working as an assistant manager for Wal-Mart, she began working for the Metropolitan Nashville Government of Nashville as an accounts payable supervisor/accountant responsible for managing accounts payable department and fixed assets. During her employment with Metropolitan General Hospital, the hospital moved from an AS400 format to a Window based accounting system. Ms. Jones was instrumental in developing processes and procedures for efficient operations of accounts payable, payroll and fixed assets. After accepting a promotional position with the Metropolitan Police Department, Ms. Jones worked as a Budget Analyst responsible for evaluating the fiscal operations and budgetary needs for the Specialized Investigation Division. Ms. Jones managed the billing process for various taskforces funded by both state and federal law enforcement agencies.
Ms. Jones currently works as a general ledger accountant for Fisk University and working on a Bachelor of Science degree in Auditing/Forensic Accounting from Kaplan University. Ms. Jones is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and Certified Fraud Examiners. She is also active in her church youth groups.
