Jodie Marie Jones was born July 9, 1991 to the loving parents of Brenda Jones and Herman Morman in Collierville, Tennessee. She has one sibling, Sherri Jones, whom she loves dearly. Jodie is a graduating, senior music education major with a 3.78 GPA who plans on attending graduate school fall 2013. She will be pursuing a Master of Music in Church Music Degree. Once this goal is accomplished she plans on obtaining her Doctorate in Music Education. With these degrees she plans on becoming a music teacher and achieving her lifelong dream of opening her own music academy. She would like to thank her church family, friends, aunts and uncles for encouraging and supporting her throughout her matriculation at Fisk. She would also like to send a special shout out to her grandmother, the late Lucille Jones, who raised her to be the young lady who she has grown to be today.
