Miss Sophomore Jasmyne Rudan

Jasmyne Rudan - Miss Sophomore Jasmyne Rudan hailing from Chicago, Illinois is a sophomore majoring in Piano Performance. She upholds the Cravath Emilious Presidential Scholarship while attending Fisk University having a 3.75 cumulative GPA. She is a current member of the Chicago Club, Sigma Alpha Iota Colony- Soror Musica, and a member of the Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Radiah Haynes and Elis Rudan are the proud parents of Ms. Rudan, having taught her to continue a progressive interest in positive matriculation. Her Grandmother, Dominga Wallace was one of the many influential people of her life. Her most impactful saying, "Nothing can hold you back, except you!" left a lasting impression on Jasmyne.

    Although Jasmyne is quite accomplished academically, she also enjoys volunteering and has devoted time to Beasley Academic Center, King College Prepatory High School, Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, Fisk University Music Department, and Gusto for Girls. But that wasn't enough; she still finds places to continue her service for the community and beyond. Jasmyne would like to give thanks to God, family, friends, mentors, music professors, and advisors.
