Miss Senior Shelita Morris
Shelita Morris was born January 25, 1992 on the south side of Chicago, Illinois to the proud parents of Paul Sr. and Sheila Morris. She has two older siblings, Litanja Moses and Paul Morris Jr. as well as a handsome nephew Nico Williams. She is loved tremendously by her wonderful parents, grandparents Charles & Helena Saulsberry, and many other family members. Shelita is a proud graduating senior of the best class, “Class of 2014”! Her major is Psychology & Pre-Nursing. She will receive a Bachelor’s in Psychology on May 5, 2014. She plans to attend Nursing school to obtain a Master’s Degree in the Fall of 2014. Once she reaches this goal, she will not stop there! Shelita will continue her educational studies and plans to receive her Doctorate in Nursing. Shelita enjoys thanking God for all of his many blessings, volunteering, spending time with family, and cooking. Shelita is the President of the Chicagoland Fisk Club, a mentor for the Girl Scouts of America, a mentor to many, and a member of Adoration of Praise at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is honored to serve her class and would like to thank them for all of their endless support. Shelita’s platform for Miss Senior was focused on Making a Difference for the Future (M.A.D.) She will continue to carry out her mission in life to Make a Difference for the Future! She is positive that the Class of 2014 will never be forgotten for their support, love, and endurance for also Making a Difference For the Future.
