The Office of Alumni Affairs fosters a spirit of cooperation, communication, and fellowship among alumni to provide alumni benefits and opportunities through a continued affiliation with Fisk University and to increase participation of alumni in the various giving programs of the University. The Office of Alumni Affairs provides administrative support services for the General Alumni Association of Fisk University, Inc. (GAAFU), which works closely with the Office of Recruitment and Admission to attain the University’s student enrollment goals.
As a member of the General Alumni Association of Fisk University, Inc., you will have an instant connection to the University and fellow alumni. There are a number of regional and local clubs you can be a part of, enabling you to make valuable connections with other Fisk alumni near you. Association membership also includes additional privileges:
- Discounts on purchases in the University Bookstore during reunion each year
- Discounts on items sold by the GAA

Young Alumni Association- a Division of the General Alumni Association of Fisk University, Inc
The Young Alumni Association (YAA) is a division of the General Alumni Association of Fisk University, Inc.. This unit was established to provide professional, social, cultural, and educational programs to motivate current students, as well as, to cultivate young alumni with the sole intent of increasing their physical, mental, and financial support to Fisk University.
