Sanjukta Hota

Bio

Dr. Hota’s research is in the area of Mathematical Biology. She has developed mathematical models on the areas of human respiratory dynamics, artificial ventilation, optimal treatment strategy analysis of peritoneal dialysis associated peritonitis. Her models are clinically tested and specifically her model on alveolar ventilation has been set up on the web for computing some important parameters associated with human ventilation. These interests, in collaboration with students, have led to publications as well as presentations at national conferences.

Dr Hota teaches Math-Bio, Calculus II and III, Ordinary Differential Equations, and Pre-calculus at Fisk University.
