Microsoft Outlook I
The Introduction to Microsoft® Office Outlook class is designed to give users a brief overview of e-mail, calendars, contacts, and other information and how it is used at Fisk University. This introductory class offers users the opportunity to become acquainted with navigating through outlook and learn some of the e-mail capabilities available.
Microsoft Outlook II
In this course, users will learn how schedule appointments, meetings, and events. Users will learn the difference in using filters versus rules. Also, after attending this class, users will be able share their calendar with others and MORE!
Micosoft Excel Basics
In this course you will have the opportunity to learn how to create and edit an Excel worksheet, work with formulas and functions, and basic spreadsheet planning. Additionally, you will be able to learn simple formatting of data and entire worksheets.
Microsoft Excel: Pivot Tables
PivotTables are an interactive and flexible presentation of data. You can change how the data is presented and laid out in the middle of an electronic presentation.  In this workshop you will understand what pivot tables are use for, how to format the data, create pivot charts, and much more!
Google CalendarÂ
In this course, users will learn how to create a Google account and can add events and invitations effortlessly, share with friends and family (or keep things to yourself), and search across the web for events you might enjoy. It’s organizing made easy. This introductory class offers users the opportunity to become acquainted with creating and sharing calendars in Google.
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is software for perfecting your images. In this workshop you will be introduced to the general tool bar, palettes, and more. Participants will gain hands-on experience importing and retouching images.
Editing with Movie Maker
Movie Maker allows you to create, edit, and add special effects to your movies. In this workshop, participants learn the basic of importing, cutting, and exporting to DVD.
Introduction to Blackboard
Blackboard is the course management systems used by Fisk University. In this course you will learn to enroll your students, add syllabus, add content, and more. In addition, you will be introduced to the gradebook in Blackboard.
Introduction to Microsoft Access
This Introduction course is designed to give users a brief overview of the benefits of using a database. In this course you will learn how to create a database, query data and create a basic report.
Introduction to Microsoft Word
This Introduction course is designed to give users a better understanding of MS Word and how to get the most out of the application. In this course you will learn how to navigate efficiently in Microsoft Word and get the most out of its formatting tools.
Basic Banner Navigation
This course is designed to give users the tools needed to navigate efficiently in Banner. After this training user will be able to navigate in Banner, run reports, enter data and set personal prefers in Banner.
