Greetings,

 

Fisk University! It is with humility and gratefulness that I say thank you to the student  body for electing me as Miss Fisk University 2012-2013. I look forward to a year of renewal in Fisk spirit and the refinement of us as a student body. I enter this position with excitement and pure determination in hopes of assuring that this upcoming school year is successful.

 

My primary goal will be to focus on retention, recruitment, and relationships for the advancement of the university. I will incorporate my platform “Faith not In Sight but in Knowledge” in order to help others understand how great Fisk is. With your help the 2012-2013 school year will be one to be remembered. Again, I say thank you to the faculty, staff, and the entire student body of Fisk University, especially the Student Election Committee.

Miss Fisk University serves as the official student ambassador for Fisk University. Her role as ambassador is to assist the University in recruitment, retention and maintaining valuable relationships in the greater Nashville Community. Miss Fisk plays a significant role in the public eye as the student representative  for the University. She is a person of high moral conduct who exemplifies a great deal of school pride and spirit. Miss Fisk and her Royal Court promote student morale by making appearances at University functions, athletic events, and student sponsored programs.  Each year Miss Fisk University develops a platform to fulfill the objectives of Recruitment,  Retention and the building of quality relationships that benefit the University.
