The Office of Institutional Advancement works collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and friends of the University to achieve the following:
- Acquire funds for financial assistance and scholarships for determined, dedicated students;
- Enhance the University’s infrastructure through funding for endowment and facilities;
- Provide resources for academic programs that enhance Fisk’s ability to carry out and maximize its educational mission;
- Develop collaborations of mutual benefit to community partners, corporations and organizations with the University.
Ninety-one percent of Fisk students receive financial aid and scholarships that make their education possible. Gifts from alumni and friends help the University provide this assistance, and every dollar from every donor makes a real difference in the lives of current students.
