The THRUST Math & Science Summer Enrichment Program has received support for it’s STEM activities in the amount of $10,000.00 from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Research Participation Program, under the direction of Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU)/ Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE).
Fisk University receives $10,000 from the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) and Microsoft Research to further education for low-income and minority girls, (PDF).
