150th Commencement Ceremony Speakers:

The Fisk Commencement committee is looking forward to welcoming our degree candidates from the mighty class of 2024 on Monday, May 6, 2024, as they celebrate their graduation from the Illustrious Fisk University.

Location: House of God Church, 2714 Scovel St., Nashville, TN 37208

TICKETS:

Tickets are required to enter the venue. Each graduate will be allocated up to 8 tickets for the event. These tickets can be picked up at the 1st commencement rehearsal on May 1. Requests for additional tickets will be handled at the 2nd rehearsal on May 3.

SCHEDULE:

● Procession: The processional will begin at 8:30 A.M.

● Ceremony: The ceremony will officially commence at 9:00 A.M.

PARKING:

Parking will be available at The House of God Church, located at 2714 Scovel St., Nashville, TN 37208. However, space is limited.

OVERFLOW PARKING:

Additional parking will be available at Schrader Lane Church of Christ, located at 1234 Schrader Ln., Nashville, TN 37208, within walking distance of HOGC.

TRANSPORTATION:

A golf cart shuttle service will be available to transport guests who need assistance from the overflow parking at Schrader Lane Church of Christ to HOGC.

RESERVED PARKING:

Designated parking is reserved for the President, Board Members, and special guests.

FACULTY PARKING:

Faculty, including committee members, are advised to arrive early if they wish to secure parking near HOGC.

GRASS PARKING:

There will be additional grass parking available in the vicinity. However, please note that Campus Safety will not be monitoring or controlling these areas.

We encourage carpooling whenever possible.
