1. What Version of Banner are we using?
   Banner Form, GUAABOT, displays the versions of each Banner product.


2. When I first start Banner INB, why do I get an error and Internet Explorer exits?
   Error message: Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
   The most common reason for this problem is the versions of Java installed on your PC.
   
   Solution:
   
   1. Close all IE windows.
   2. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\Java\jre\bin\client\
   3. Copy the file jvm.dll
   4. Go to C:\Program Files\Oracle\Jinitiator\bin\hotspot\
   5. Rename the jvm.dll file to jvm.dll.old in step 4.
   6. Copy file to Step 4 folder with the copy from Step 3.

4. I am logging into Banner for the first time and nothing is happening.
   If your system has never accessed Banner INB before you will need to contact the helpdesk at 615.329.8693 so that we can access your system as an administrator in order to ensure that the Banner add-ons and extensions install properly on system.


5. When I extract data into a webpage nothing opens.
   You have a pop-up blocker either turned on in internet explorer or you have a toolbar installed that includes a pop-up blocker. Hold down the CTRL key until your data pops into a new IE window.


6. What web browsers are supported when using the Banner INB and SSB products?
   SGHE recommends using Internet Explorer, Safari, or Netscape. We cannot guarantee full functionality in any other web browser if you choose to use them.
